Project Description
A tired kitchen and bathroom can make an entire home feel dated, even when everything else has been updated. This cabinet refinishing in Myrtle Beach, SC project tackled that problem for a homeowner whose kitchen cabinets, island, and bathroom vanity had lost their shine, and whose storage no longer matched how the family actually lived. Old finishes, mismatched hardware, and drawers that stuck or slammed made the kitchen and bathroom feel more frustrating than functional, every single day.
Carroll Custom Coatings‘s crew refinished the kitchen cabinets, kitchen island, and bathroom vanity in a custom mixed white, then refaced the bathroom cabinetry and designed new custom storage to fit the space without disrupting the home’s existing layout. We added soft-close hinges and drawer glides throughout, and the project wrapped up with all new cabinet hardware. The entire transformation, spanning two rooms and seven distinct upgrades, was completed in one week.

Paints & Products Used
A single custom-mixed white finish was used across the kitchen cabinets, island, bathroom vanity, and cabinet doors so each space reads as one cohesive design rather than a patchwork of updates. Keeping one color consistent across two rooms is a deliberate choice: it lets the new hardware, soft-close hardware, and refaced surfaces stand out as intentional upgrades instead of competing with a mismatched palette. For a cabinet refinishing project in Myrtle Beach, SC that touches this many surfaces, that consistency makes the finished result feel like a single, considered transformation.

Result of Cabinet Refinishing in Myrtle Beach, SC
The kitchen cabinets, island, and bathroom vanity now share one clean, custom white finish instead of the dated, mismatched look the homeowner started with. Cabinet doors close quietly on new soft-close hardware, the new custom storage fits neatly alongside the existing cabinetry, and updated hardware finishes off every drawer and door in both rooms.
From an outdated kitchen island to a bathroom vanity that no longer matched the home, this project shows what cabinet refinishing in Myrtle Beach, SC can accomplish in a single week, along with bathroom cabinet refacing and a custom storage build that makes the whole space work harder.
